Marc O'Polo was founded in Stockholm in 1967 by two Swedes and an American. The first collection piece created by the three founders was a patchwork shirt made from hand-woven Indian cotton. Since 1997 Marc O'Polo is owned by Werner Böck, and is based in Stephanskirchen, Germany.
